The Rebirther

Prologue

In this time, people rarely remember the Great War. Our planet, our Earth, was a battleground. Two sides, the Alexandrians and the Turanors, fought each other for more than a century. They forgot what they were fighting for in the first place. It could’ve been land, it could’ve been gold, but nobody who lives from the end of the war can remember. I, at least, cannot. I don’t know if Julianne is still alive. I pray. But prayers are nothing compared to the truth that I can give to you. My child, I must confess to someone, so it might as well be you. I do not ask for forgiveness for what I have done. But when I have passed, and the story is told, the least I can ask of you is that you believe me. Believe me, and be the first person to come out of this terrible darkness that fell upon us after the War. Now our story begins with a woman. Her name was Julianne…
