Collage

I iron my shirt,
The light melts, tangles my breath;
I write poetry.

On ignorance

Umber clouds whisper
Dreams of dawn; Orion rising….
“Orion? New French dish?”

Collage, take two

Marred feet, painful
Scream: mom forgot her lipsticks;
It’s still poetry.

Egalitarianism

People’s writers; see
Phrenology…. Don’t get it?
It was on purpose.

Collage, take three

Dad lies with the dog
On the stained mattress; woof, woof;
Still… you get the point.
