A/N: It has almost been a year since I last saw him. I am still in love with him and I cannot forget about him. This is the first of a series of poems that I have written about him. You may see some similarities from poem to poem, like the same lines. What I call him is orange boy because he always wore that color and he gave me an orange heart. Enjoy.

An Unforgettable Exit

Because of you
My world is dark and cold
There is an empty hole
That you once filled

Because of you
My life is dull and dreary
Can’t escape this crazy feeling
I never had before

Because you’re gone
My world is lost to shadow
The darkness surrounds me
And fills the silence with dread and tears

Because you’re gone
My life has changed forever
It seems so different
Because it’s less, not more

Now that you’re gone
I want to disappear
Get somewhere far from here
Where all the memories of you can melt, no fears

Now that you’re gone
There will be no nice closure
No warm and trusting shoulder
For me to lie on

Ever since you left
The memories have torn away
No more quiet and peace left today
All hope has vanished

Ever since you left
My life has been filled with broken promise
I cannot trust you to return

My love, my life, my soul, my world
Remain in an empty lie
