Chapter 3: Sensei Omugahto

A/N: Woot! chapter 3! I want to thank TearFromABlueRose and melancolie for staying with we. And Thanks to Katt Riverwind for giving confidence and being my editor! You should read her stories, she is way better than me. Ok, I was told by TearFromABlueRose that I settled a problem to early, which was absolutly correct, so I fixed it. Have fun!

Mt. Runigi one week later:

Ryzal, Popton, and Alyth were walking up the path to Sensei Omugahtos' house.

"So what do you think he looks like?" Alyth asked.

"No clue?" Popton answered. They had easily became friends.

"Who?" came a deep voice behind them. They all turned to see a man in his twenties. His raven black hair flowed through the slight breeze. His ocean blues glinted as he smiled at them.

"Sensei Omugahto. Who are you?" Alyth asked, her and Popton starred at his beauty.

He smiled then said "Sensei Omugahto." Popton and Alyths' mouth dropped.

"Is there something wrong?" he asked.

"No..no," Popton said closing her mouth then closing Alyths, "it's just we didn't expect a Sensei as young as you." Alyth nodded. Ryzal's face flush with jealousy as the two girls gapped at him, he didn't care if Alyth did as much as he did Popton.

Popton shook her head, then stood beside Ryzal and laid her head on his shoulder. Ryzal laid his head softly on hers and draped his arm on her around her.

"Am I in the right place?" came a voice. Everyone turned to see a tall thin blonde haired boy, his eyes were as blue as the sky.

"Loki?" Popton asked in disbelief.

"Popton, what are you doing here?" Loki asked.

"Uh...Mr. Shunjingo sent me here, along with Alyth and Ryzal." Popton answered then added "What are you doing here?"

"He sent me here too. He told me to look for Sensei Omugahto, do you know where he is?" Loki said without looking at Ryzal.

"He's me, now will you all follow me this way, please." Sensei Omugahto said turning and heading up path.

"Why is he here?" Loki asked with acid in his voice.

"Don't even." Popton said her voice equally poisonous.

"What seems to be the problem?" Sensei Omugahto asked looking back.

"Nothing, just Loki doesn't think too well of Ryzal." Popton answered.

"Can you two settle it?" Sensei asked.

"Eventually, yes." Ryzal said politely.

"No." Loki glaring at Ryzal. Ryzal showed no expression on his face.

"What's wrong?" Alyth asked.

"His friend is in jail for setting off a smoke bomb that nearly killed the only friend I had. He's still in intensive care. He suffered brain damage and may not live." Ryzal said. Popton looked sorrowfully at Ryzal.

"It wasn't him! He didn't set of that smoke bomb. Noya wouldn't do that! He has a good heart." Loki shouted.

"Calm down. Are you talking Noya Datera?" Alyth said. Loki nodded his head.

"I remember him, I saw what happened, I was there." she then said.

Flash back

"Hello? Is any one there?" Alyth called as she walked down the empty hallway. Her foot steps echoed as she walked towards a back hallway.

A boy in her grade was sitting on the floor. He was thin and tall, his hair was red and his eyes were a glowing green.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

"I heard someone talking and came to check it out, what are you doing here in the middle of class?" Alyth said as she approached the boy. She knew who it was, he was in her P. E. class, his name was Taro Muishi.

"I got a bit dizzy so I sat down." he answered.

"Is everything O. K here?" came a male voice, it was Noya.

"Yeah, just my allergies acting up." Taro said attempting to get up, Noya helped him.

"We should take him to the nurse, he needs to rest." Alyth said. They held him between them and headed down the hallway. They were almost out when a male student stood in their way.

"Don't leave so soon, you'll miss the show." he said holding his hand up in the air, it was Oren Hoy. He smirked then threw something to the ground. Smoke rose from the ground and quickly clouded their vision. Smoke bomb? Alyth thought to herself.

There was a loud hacking as Taro was dropped and everyone fell to the ground, Alyth was on her hands and knees. She couldn't see anything, she heard some gasping and someone being dragged off. She coughed loudly and looked up to see Noya in front of her, he had crawled over to her.

"Come on!" he said leading the way out of the smoke. They made it out of the hallway, Alyth gasping for breath.

"Where's Taro? He has asthma, he can't take this smoke." Alyth said. Noya point to a figure curled on the ground. Alyth crawled to him and listened to his breathing, it was irregular.

"He...needs...an..." she said getting dizzy. She saw Noya pull the emergency lever.

A few minutes later police were filing in the hallway. Alyth felt weak and sleepy.

"It was him." came a voice, it was Oren. He was pointing at Noya.

"No...it wasn't it was...it was," Alyth managed before passing out.

End flash back

"So you see, it wasn't Noya who did it...it was Oren Hoy." Alyth said finishing her story. Loki and Ryzal were not paying attention. They had been arguing through the whole story.

"Hey! Were you guys paying attention!" Alyth and Loki looked at her a shook their heads. then continued aruging.

"He could have died!" Ryzal yelled.

"It wasn't Noya's fault!" Loki bounced back. They glared at each other until Sensei Omughato seperated them.

"Let's 'll settle the problem later." Sensei Omugahto said. The group traveled up the side of the mountain until dark fall.

"We'll stay here tonight." Sensei said. He then assigned jobs of gathering wood, setting up tents, and making fire. It was about 10 'o' clock before they all fell asleep.
