I motion to something better
Yet no bites are taken, no steps
The eyes look on, a glimpse of
A glimpse of the crystal tears
It is all a dead cause, no more
Subtle steps aren't working, no more
There really is no point to the daunting
You won't let me touch you
So I touch myself here, there
The safety pin hurts, but the red
No more talk of my sentiments
The voice of weakness calls
It is the hope one day share
For now, one can only sleep on
Being stranded is truly tiring
