“Not Enough Time”

The world keeps spinning

as I look all around me,

people are hustling and bustling,

places to go and people to see

but I stand still, as lost as can be

I don’t know where to go

and I don’t know what to do.

I feel all alone in a crowded room.

So much stress and pressure

and not enough time

Life keeps going on

all around me,

but for me pause was chosen.
