A Desperate Struggle

Its a hated emotion

As it climbs its ladder

Slowly engulfing, slowly

Then, suddenly its choking

And tearing all in its path

A depression I'm not willing to free

And in the face of the world I don't feel

In its clouded might it will never lose

For nothing's left to win

Its taken everything I am

And for once its not sad

As it joins with my soul

Its hard to be, for its me.

----

I certainly do like this one. Not too sure about the format or ending though. :shrugs: It is what it is, and that's all it'll ever be. Hope you enjoyed.
