I don't regret the time we spent,
I don't regret our fun.
I don't regret the games we played,
Because what's done is done.

I thank you for giving to me,
That enjoyment in my life.
I'm thankful that between us,
There was never any strife.

But there is one thing I'd like to say.
One thing that still stands out:
I am sorry I got so attached,
Even though I had my doubts.
