Chapter Two

I couldn't breath, the room was getting smaller, My limbs were shaking, my voice was missing, no matter how much I tried to speak up I could not make a sound came from me. I tried to force myself to calm, but it only made me panic more. My breaths coming faster and more shallow. "Hey are you okay?" a male voice whispered into my ear. I shook my head, unsure if I was okay. I was panicking, it wasn't right. Why was I here. "um…Mr Danielson I think Gal needs some help." The voice said, I shook my head, not wanting it, but my breath was still missing. I clamped my hands down on my legs, again trying to even out my breathing. The room was slowly going black, spinning, what was going on? I think someone else said something, but I didn't hear it. The room was almost gone, and I couldn't help but throw myself into the darkness.

"Miss Hartford?" Someone said, I couldn't place the voice, nor did I no why it was interrupting my sleep. I rolled way from it. Knowing if I ignored it, it would go away.

"Gal?" Someone else said lightly touching my shoulder. Suddenly the world came back to me. I was laying on the ground, I was surrounded by people, people I didn't know. I was at school. But who had turned out the lights. Slowly I realized that my eyes were still closed. Slowly opening them I say Mr Danielson standing above me. And a bunch of unknown people gathered around me.

"What just happened?" I asked looking around, why was I on the floor.

"You just blacked out." Mr Danielson said in a calm voice, as if this was an everyday activity.

"You stopped breathing." The boy who I barley recognized said to me. I knew he sat behind me and had tried to talk to me, but I had always blown him off not wishing to make friends here.

"Oh" I said, and then suddenly I felt to close to all these people. "May I please have some space." I said

"Of Course, Mr Hoff, will you please take Miss Hartford to the school nurse." I shook my head about to protest that I didn't need to see a nurse when Mr. Danielson stopped me. "Let's just be on the safe side today huh?" He said knowing somehow what I was going to say. I nodded thinking it was a good reason to get out of class anyway.

The boy who sat behind me offered me a helping hand to get up. Just to be nice I took it and then we both headed out of the classroom.
