In my English class everyone was given a list of random words to put in a poem that had to be about 20 lines long. Oh, and we had to use one of the words for a title.

Words that I was given:

Sad

Friend

Hearts

Breaths

Breathed

Cry

Air

Veins

Knife

Skin

Sand

Fuzzy

Winds

Howls

Pear

Hair

Mars

War

Bump

-.-

Now for the poem. Ahem!

Sad (I know! Crappy title, but it was the only word I hadn’t used yet and it works.)

I thought I knew my friend,

I thought we were close; our hearts alike,

I thought that the breaths we breathed were proof,

That we’d be the best of friends, in spite,

The fact that you moved away,

Days ago and made me cry,

The air that was once warm and fuzzy,

Froze my veins and gave a sigh,

It felt as if a knife,

Was plunged beneath my skin,

Pinned me down against the sand,

That was warm once; like deep within,

Me.

The winds in the fruit-tree above me howls,

And a pear lies by my hair,

Like me it is bruised, slowly dying away,

Why can’t life ever be fair?

Mars make me strong; help me fight my war,

Help fight and bump right back,

I want my friend to return sometime soon,

Since I’m missing my other half.

-.-

Tell me what you think about it ok?!! Luv you all lotz!!! ooh! and check out my other stuff!
