Why is it when I lay down

I start to dream of you

And the way we used to be

Day and night always together

We were part of each other…

In the sun, having fun

Curled in each other

Why is it as I lay here

I remember the way you held me

The way you kissed me

Soft and gentle

Passionate and longing

Why can I not

Sleep with out you in my mind

I stop sleeping altogether

And find that now

You have penetrated my concuss
