Girl Behind the Mask

Girl behind the mask of stone,
Where is your family? Where is your home?
You sit all day and wonder why,
You don’t just spread your wings, and fly.
You hate those clowns, you hate those fools,
Those insane children at your school.
And those injits, those annoying preachers,
To think they dare to call themselves teachers!
They ask you where you go, and what you do,
As if there’s something wrong with you!

You lost your wings when you fell out of heaven,
Severed from your back when you were seven.
Poor fallen angel, bleeding from your core,
Surly, in life, there is something more.
Your home is in a distant land,
Separated by fire, water and sand.
You have no family to call your own,
Girl behind the mask of stone.

Kay: Okay, as usual, this was written earlier this year while 1) shaking off the chills from my "punk goth" freind and 2) as usual suffering from angst because last year certainb----es and b-------sat my school decided to make my life hell and make me feel like i didn't have any friends in our grade. Even though I do have friends. ((counts on fingers)) About three that are really good ones, and then a bunch of aquantences.
