Author’s Notes: Don’t you just love all of those lovely Evangelists preaching their supposedly personal beliefs to you?

Yeah, neither do I. Prepare for the sarcasm.

My God

---

There’s always a competition

Always a war to be fought

Someone who thinks one thing…

Another who believes not.

There will always be this struggle

The war between you and I

All because I believe one thing

And you simply deny.

Because my belief is popular

It’s wiser and smarter, too

It’s so much more sophisticated

But I’m sure you already knew.

My belief is proven

I swear on my life, it’s fact

Whereas these things you put faith in

Are merely a silly act.

My faith is stronger

He keeps me safe, I know

And for when the two of us die…

I know where each of us will go.

I know that I am correct

And so you must be wrong

Your beliefs must be full of it

Hey, I knew it all along.

See, it’s a frivolous world

Where everyone’s keeping score

And maybe you think differently

But my God is better than yours.
