Dear sir,
I hope this finds you well,
I am not in an agreeable state,
Confusion and emptiness haunt me,
And the steady beating of my heart.
What I have done is unimportant,
But what I do is for us to see,
For the love which haunts me daily
May become a strength to me.
While I love you I’ll love no other.
While I love you my heart will stay
Guarded by my mind forever,
Kept so safely locked away,
And with this at my disposal,
I shall learn to be unfeeling,
Ruthless, mean and self-protecting,
‘Til my very dying day,
And to you I write this letter,
I do so hope it finds you well,
For I will always and forever,
Be sincerely yours, a girl.
