Sunday Night

Inspiration just struck on that weekend evening when I had been doing lastminute homework.:P It's kind of sad, but in any case, RR! Oh yeah can someone tell me how to leave a space between stanzas? The formatting here keeps joining them back again! Thx!

Sunday Night

-

These beautiful days

Just wanna catch hold of them

And make them stop

Running on and on,

Forever…

-

Wistfulness

Filling up my heart

Like water from a tap

Clear, familiar

Heavy.

-

Imagine not going back

I wish I could –

She doesn't want to

Should I?

-

Would they remember me?

Three years ago

It's a long time

Everyone's gone,

-

Disappearing from that

Picture

I used to know.

Time

-

Like a pretty

Butterfly,

Fluttering on

Away.

Catch it

-

Grab it

Make it stop –

If only I could

Then let the sands dribble away

Sadly.

-

Surrounded by

The peace-filled darkness

And the pain of tempt and duty

-

What is it

That so pulls me back

To pendulums

And lines and

Clocks?

-

I want

I need

Softness

And familiarity

Rest.

-

Lock me up and

Keep me there

Against the nuts and bolts

Stickystrandsdemanding.

-

Is the bend

Near?

Invisible

Silent

-

Rain.
