Midnight Masquarade.

The night is covered in darkness,

Mystique is in the air

We’re hiding in the shadows,

Trying to be quiet, no one may hear

Shrouded in a dark mist of romance,

My true love and I, we begin to dance

Rose petals are soaring freely from the sky,

Slowly drawn to earth, where they’ll wither away and die

This secret game was created so that no one would know,

Our love is forbidden, our love is not allowed to show

If someone would see us, they could never tell

Our faces are hidden, even as we say farewell

I’d like you to join us, in the game we made

I’d like you to join our midnight masquarade
