I understand a few of you guys won’t agree with psychics. Let me plead my case;

If you have ever been to actually see a psychic, you know how accurate they are. And afterwards it feels like a wakeup call. If I could, I’d send everyone to a psychic and pay for it too. Most of the ones I’ve seen have shocked the hell out of me. They know you front to back.

I’m sorry if its against your beliefs or something, but it works very well with mine.

Enjoy your read,

Sarah Lee

PS: This next chapter is a little graphic. Be forewarned

Chapter 15

Yes. Zach was guilty of it. As most boys were. He was not alone. It was completely normal and natural. Right? Especially if you recently had a girl sharing a bed with you. Well… almost.

A pair of green eyes shifted around the room as it sat still. Alina had left a few minutes ago. Should she have stayed she would have been his. In mind body and soul.

Zach let out a sigh then headed over to his window. Staring outside as the moonlight poured in the window showing off its glazed milky moonbeams. The moon was full. But he didn’t believe that people did crazy things during a full moon. Masturbate? Yes.

“Wait a minute!” Zach said to himself as he slapped his forehead. “Don’t think about that. Its disgusting!”

Why the hell masturbation came into his mind was not something he understood. But he couldn’t help himself, he started thinking about it. If only he hadn’t touched her waist before she left. His hands had lightly traced over her breasts. Then he felt his jeans get so tight, and he was ready for sex. She was there, on his bed. They were alone. No time limits. Just their hot bodies. He remembered how she shivered when he lightly blew on her ear as he clung to her. Oh sweet glory.

Once she left he immediately tugged off his jeans so his manhood could breath. His erection had still not died down. If ONLY Alina had stayed. They would’ve succumbed to the moonlight and became lovers.

Zach leaned his back against the wall and crossed his arms over his chest. Then his eyes closed very tightly. He felt the strain of his eyelids. He had to think about something not sexual. Then he thought of a lesson where he heard her sweet voice under his direction. Then, like a kid with A.D.D he switched the channel and saw her completely naked on the piano. Her hands running over her stomach and moving down…

Zach groaned loudly in anger at himself. He started to hum and pace.

From across the hall, a door was shut. Brody had gone to bed. Everything was tucked in nicely. It was his chance. Now or never. But he’d feel so guilty. Zach glanced around the empty room. His hands lightly rubbing his chest. Before he knew it, they were moving down south. He cleared his throat nervously. No one was there but it felt like the world was watching.

“God dammit…” He quietly said to himself. He stormed over to the door and locked it. Sighing to himself.

Zach sat down. He was stalling. He needed to just lay down and do it right? He had been doing it more often now. Now that he admitted to loving Alina. He was almost sure she felt the same way. That was why he made a move after their talk. She didn’t struggle. Instead she let him, and with her eyes closed he was almost sure she enjoyed it.

His hands once again moved down south only this time making the trip. Why the hell was he so horny? He hasn’t had a hard on this big since that dream he had. He woke up and low and behold his groin had popped up a tent.

Zach turned over on his side as his hands pulled his boxers down. He didn’t want to fight it anymore. He’d just do it. He’d do it and enjoy it. Not only that, but when he orgasmed he’d call her name.

Because that means that they’re perfect together. Right?

He started his business and his mind switched to her again. Alina didn’t touch herself… did she? He smirked to himself thinking about her in her room alone with him on her mind. What if they were both doing it right now? Under the same stars? Was she dreaming about having sex with him? What were her fantasies like?

Zach pondered and pondered. All the while, he continued his dirty work.

Time Passes

Oh man it was horrible.

Someone was playing the piano really badly. There was a clash a notes. None of them sounded good together. It was like someone was just pounding hardly on the keys out of anger.

His brow furrowed as he walked down the long windowed hall. A few people were walking past him from the choir room. He was actually really early. He wanted to be.

Zach rushed down the halls following the sound of the nasty piano. Once he reached the choir room door, he yanked it open and rushed inside. About to scold someone for playing the piano so horridly.

“Hiya sexy!” Alina spoke up as she stood up from the piano bench.

Zach, who had been angrily frowning, smiled. It had only been her. Well, in that case it was acceptable. He walked over to her with a grin.

“You’re piano skills are terrible.” He said bluntly. But she knew, he wasn’t serious. Because she had met his eyes and they both laughed. Alina reached up and wrapped her arms around him. Hugging him.

“I see you’re wearing the shirt!” She said. Looking down at the print on his t-shirt. Zach let go of her and looked down at it.

“Yes. Quite a few people have laughed at it actually!” They laughed. Both very cheerful. Why was that. He let his eyes rest on her. But she was looking away. “Look at me.” He said as he touched her chin and moved her head so she was looking at him. She had an indifferent look on her face, no smile no frown. All this cheer was false. He should’ve seen it. “Whats going on?” His thumb rubbed her cheek.

Alina stopped and stared at him. He was coming on so strongly. But he couldn’t help it. It felt like it would be today. Today, he was ready. All he needed now, was her confidence and her answer. The answer yes.

“We… need time… to ourselves…” She said after she held her breath. Her hand touching his hand that was on her cheek. Zach stared awkwardly. What did she mean. “I’m ok… are you?” Alina said randomly.

“Alina. I feel it now.” He said quietly.

“What do you feel?” She said remarkably louder. Zach could feel it in her shaky breathe. She was weak and vulnerable right now. Why had this cheerful talk about piano playing turned to this?

The choir room door opened and talking was heard. Alina turned on her heels quickly but Zach grabbed her shoulder.

“Come to my house at 5:00.” He said quietly and quickly as he then let go and she rushed to her seat. Zach stared longingly at her until a few people walked in front of him and broke the sight. He turned his head then sat on the piano bench as everyone filed in. Alina started to lightly converse with an alto. Not looking at him or paying any attention.

Alford rushed in as the bell rang. Someone was missing. Zach glanced around and noticed Ericka was gone. He had seen her today. Odd.

“Zach, Alina, my office. Now!” Alford said without thought and walked into the door on the far right of the wall.

Alina stood up and squeezed past a few chairs and headed inside the room. Quickly. All the while Zach lagged behind and slowly walked in.

The room was dim. The air in it was warm and thick. The walls were covered in pictures of the choirs from many years ago. Alina’s senior picture was on his desk along with a few other pictures. The desk was messy and the computer shut off.

“We have a dilemma…” Alford exclaimed in a high voice as he shut the office door. He turned around and looked at both of them. Alina stood casually while Zach felt tense. “Ericka quit.” He said, breaking the immediate silence.

Alina froze. Zach chuckled a little. He then cleared his throat after Alford furrowed his bushy eyebrows at him. Zach stuck his hands in his pocket like nothing had happened.

“Ericka talked about how she cant stand the two of you…” He said with raised eyebrows.

Alina shrugged.

“Not my fault.” She said simply. Zach nodded after she spoke. They didn’t do anything really. Besides humiliate her, fool her to go on a date with Zach, squeezed information out of her then spread it throughout the school. They did absolutely nothing.

“Let us plead our case.” Zach spoke up.

“For what? Mr. Blair, you’re not in trouble. I just don’t want you accompanying me anymore.” Mr. Alford said with a shrug similar to Alina’s. Zach felt his temperature drop. Shit. He was in for it this time. What would he do now. Zach opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out.

Alina gasped loudly.

“You cant kick him out! He’s helped so many people pull things together! The choir loves him to death!” Alina exclaimed. She stepped in front of him as if defending him. Zach put his hand on her shoulder. He knew that there was no arguing with this teacher.

Alford laughed loudly.

“Miss Livingstone! Calm down! Zach isn’t leaving at all! I’m just moving him!” Alford patted Alina’s shoulder.

Zach’s temperature dropped more. Now he was confused.

“Moving me?” He asked as he scratched his head.

“How would you feel…” Alford said as he got directly in front of Zach. Standing as straight as his little bottle could hand. “…about being my lead tenor?”

Zach’s temperature now rose. He opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out. Lead tenor? His body giddy. Full of desire. Full steam ahead into this, said his head. It’ll do you good! Said his heart. A smile spread across Zach’s face.

“Well! Um… yes!” He was speechless. There was barely anything to say anyways. Alford gave him a natural smile. “I’d be extremely honored. But… what about the other lead?”

“He resigned from it. Hes a tenor, just not lead. This is actually a huge responsibility should you take it Zach.” Alford said as he took his glasses off and looked at them for a chip or speck or something. He put them back on.

Zach nodded. He was ready and willing.

“Great…” Alford said. He nodded. “As for you Miss Livingstone! I apologize!”

Alina, who had been beaming graciously for Zach was drawn to attention. Her face snapped over to Alford.

“Apologize?” She asked puzzled.

“YOU should have been a soprano. Not only that, but a lead. How about I make it up to you?” He asked.

Alina was dead frozen. Staring at Alford with bright eyes. Zach was ecstatic. He turned to her with a big grin. Her mouth slowly twisted, then pulled up her cheeks. She looked out of it. Like she didn’t believe him.

“I-I-I…” She said. Then covered her mouth. This must’ve been a dream come true for her. But she was acting like someone had just asked to marry her. “That would be… amazing. Am I dreaming?”

“Nope.” Alford said. A half smirk playing along his lips. “Do you accept?”

“YES!” Alina said loudly.

Mr. Alford nodded.

“Then its done. I’ll announce it to everyone.” He said as he looked at them fondly, then walked out of the office.

Zach closed his eyes. This was one of the miracles he had planned. Now, there was only one more left.

Time Passes

“Why are you guys…?” Zach said as he stood on the bottom stairs staring with awe.

Brody and his mother were putting coats on and their shoes were on. Where the hell were they going?

“We’re going to have a little date Zach. Cant your parents go on a little date?” Brody said as he wrapped a scarf around his neck.

“I’m having a friend come over! It’s a girl!” Zach said waving his arms like a madman. He was concerned. Not sure why though.

“We trust you honey!” His mom said. Her eyes were shining with metallic blue eye shadow. She looked beautiful. Also her brown hair was swept up neatly.

“Wear a rubber.” Brody said with a shrug.

Zach’s jaw dropped.

“Like I carry those around!” He said loudly. Zach looked at his watch. 4:50. He abruptly looked up then rushed over to them. Hugging them both really quickly. “Bye! Have a nice date!” He walked over and opened the door for them. Waving to them.

His mother and stepfather exchanged glances. Then very slowly walked out of the door without saying anything to Zach.

Once they left, Zach slammed the door and sighed. Alone. Absolutely positively alone. Was he ready for this?

This would be the biggest event. Today, he would walk away different. He knew it. Everything was going to come into play. All questions would be answered. Today. Today.

Zach walked over to the staircase and sat at the bottom step. Staring at the freshly mopped floor. The hardwood shining like it was brand new. He sighed. It would be strange. But it would be today. Today. It felt so weird. All these years, everything was going to change. He just needed to work his magic today.

A knock was at the door. He checked his watch. 4:56. Close enough. Zach stood up and walked over to the door, opening it.

“From now on, just open the door and walk in ok?” He said with a smile. Alina nodded then walked in and took off her shoes. She looked solemn. Like she was attending a funeral. “Alina?” He asked. He wouldn’t get anywhere without her permission. He needed her answer before he could explore their chemistry. And so far, the answer was no.

Maybe there wouldn’t be an eclipse today.

“Yes?” Alina said as she looked up at him. Her eyes swimming with a different emotion then before. He didn’t know what it was. Regret maybe?

Zach stared sadly. Now he wanted to go cry. He wanted to say “hell with my manhood” and leave and cry. She would say no. She didn’t love him.

“Zach… I don’t know what to say right now.” She spoke up as she started to walk away. He however, did not follow her. She kept going then walked into the music room. She was like a muse. Walking away from him quietly but it felt like she was screaming for him to follow. He wanted to follow. But it looked risky.

But he needed to risk everything right now. This was his last chance to unlock a lock that had been locked for over 15 years. Zach felt his feet slowly start walking. His courage sticking out as he opened the door and saw Alina sitting on the piano bench.

“You’re going to make me do it… aren’t you?” Alina said. Her back was turned to him.

Zach didn’t know what she was talking about.

“What am I going to make you do?” He said calmly. Then walked over to a sofa and sat down. She looked away.

“Confess every feeling to you…” She said. A break in her voice after every word. She was scared. He was too. They were beginners in this. They’d walk through it together.

Zach stood up, then sat on the other side of the piano bench. He had his back to her back.

“There are a million hopes right now. They all come from one person however. At the end of the day, you’ll only hurt one. And in statistics, one out of over a billion is a small percent.”

“But you mean the world to me…” Alina said. He froze. His heart beating against his chest. “You’re 100. And that’s an awfully big percent.” She said as she turned around. Zach still had his back to her. Confession hour. Now it was time.

“Today Alina…” He whispered. “Today is the day.” Zach turned around and faced her. She had been staring oddly at him. Now the connection was growing. Her hazel eyes shining. They were wet with reaction from this tender moment.

“Yes it is…” She swallowed hard and a tear trickled down her cheek. “And I’m speechless.”

He stood up. Then walked over to the window. His ribcage getting a rough beating from his heart. This was too crazy. Things were unlocking. The first emotion to escape? Love. Zach stared at the floor.

“I cant say it. I feel like I need to, but I’ve never used this phrase before. Its like… greek.” Zach said. He cleared his throat. Alina stood up and leaned against the piano.

“You… don’t have to. I understand its hard.” She stared at her feet. “But this… this is not supposed to happen!” She said loudly. He watched her tense up then start pacing. Her tears becoming more visible. “I told myself I wouldn’t feel this way about you! That we will just be best friends! Because guys always break my heart! And they don’t care for me! They don’t show me passion or anything! At the end of the day, I’m crying myself to sleep!” She yanked on her hair a little. “Why Zach?” She asked. She now looked angry.

He smiled knowingly as she leaned against the piano again. The silence set itself in thickly. Until Zach stepped away from the window. He slowly, unsteadily walked over to her. He had almost tripped but played it off.

Next thing he knew he was pressing himself against her. His hands on the piano behind her. Their eyes meeting. Then, time seemed to freeze as she reached her arms up around his shoulders.

It was still quest. There was so much chemistry, so much connection. Their eyes never leaving one another. A match made in heaven for sure. She was so beautiful. He had never seen her in this light before. He was about to make a huge point in his life history. Would Alina help him.

She slowly closed her eyes. A smile going across her lips. That as it. That was her answer.

She said yes.

Zach centered himself. Wanting to cherish this forever. Then as she opened her eyes, the time was right. No one would walk in, no one’s phone would ring. It would just be them. It would be them for a while.

He moved in. His hands wrapping around her waist, he pulled her closer. She allowed herself to be pulled. She was going along. And she looked like she desired it so much. He gazed down at her. Then, after all these years of walking lonely, being beaten and rejected, Zach made history.

He kissed her.

Their lips tightly held each other like their arms. He pulled her even closer. His arms around her waist. Everything was being released. They held their lips together for a while. Both of them forgot to breath. It was amazing.

But it ended as does many things. They pulled apart, and Zach felt so free. A smile spread across his face. His lips still wet with that tender moment. They still tingled.

“I love you.” He said.

And just like that, everything that was bad in his life, every mean thought, every grudge; was forgiven. He spoke his heart, and she seemed to fall mentally. Another tear, of joy, streaked down her cheek. He could hear her swallow.

“I love you too.” She mumbled then she smiled.

Once again, their lips met. Both of them parted slightly. A little more risky, but it felt so right. So good. The kiss ceased but she continued again. Alina held his shoulders tightly. Then he felt a small flick of her tongue. He was invited in now. And they started to very passionately, make out.

Her breathing was labored as she pulled him towards her. Alina was backing up over to the couch. And unwanting to break their affection he followed her, and allowed himself to be pulled onto the couch with her.

His heart was racing so much. It was a racehorse winning the Kentucky Derby. He was a winner.

They stopped kissing for a minute and she stared at him. Zach let himself melt into the contours of her body.

“You’re mine now.” She said. They both smiled.

Zach gave her a very wet open mouth kiss that felt oh so good. He felt her heartbeat under him. She loved him. He could tell. And he loved her. This joy, this happiness, was overcoming him. This was all he needed. All he needed was love.

“Thank you Alina. For absolutely everything.” He said. His forehead pressed against hers. “If I’m yours, then you’re mine. Be mine?” He grinned. Sounding like that valentine’s day candy. As stupid as he sounded, he meant it. He wanted to be her boyfriend.

“You know the answer. Yes.” Alina spoke. Her voice, strong and sure. They kissed again.

They had eclipsed.
