It’s surprising how much can happen a few years, if you think about it. In the past couple years, so much has happened. I met my best friends in the world, Ginger and Brenda, and my now-husband, Daniel. I graduated from college. Things have been going very smoothly. I remember the New Year’s party Ginger threw exactly three years ago today and we all had big exciting news to share with each other. I was getting married, Mimi was going to college, Ginger was going to be in a show. It seems like a really long time ago, but it wasn’t in actuality. In any case, unlike Ginger’s crazy French acting teacher who got married and divorced eleven times, my marriage is lasting. I got a job in a law firm, and Daniel has become a doctor, and we’re starting to renovate our apartment in Grapefruit Acres Apartment Complex. I feel good about the year to come. You know how once in a while you’ll just have a hunch about something? Well, I have one now. I predict that this year will be a good one, and exactly one year from now Mimi, Ginger, and I will all be happier, more complete people (or a happier, more complete person. Sometimes I’m not quite sure if we’re three individuals or each a third of one big person.)
