Teetering on the brink of the cliff;

The brink of

The sky behind you is bold

With the blood of tomorrow as it

Frames you with negative space

And shadows;

A graceful painter’s

Cerberus welcomes me:

We play fetch with the bones of yesterday

On the banks of Styx.

You smile at me:

I can see the gaps in your teeth.

Is this where all your lies escape from?

But that is too easy

And the quitter’s way:

Just a snap

And a flick.

It’s all over.

Way back in your college rumpus room

Author’s Notes: I don’t know either, heh. The dashes are there because FP eats my formatting .. the bottom bit was shaped like a noose in word, but I had trouble getting the same effect with the dashes. Sorry.
