Wishing
Wanting deep inside
From you my feelings I don't wish to hide.

But instead in shadows they lay
For I know you do not feel the same way.
It tears my heart into little bits
A physical pounding could never provide so hard a hit.

Suffocating
Wishing for these feelings to disappear
My mind pays these thoughts no heed;
The emotions are already there.

My breathing is labored, impossible to do.
My heart, my lungs, my soul
All ripped out
Because of you.
