My hands are clasped

My eyes are closed

To the wind of the west

I offer nightmares:

Dreams gone awry,

Hopes that have not passed,

Dissapointment,

That cuts like broken glass

All this I give,offer

To stormy Zephyr

For him to scatter.

He is like an ocean

I am a stream,

Full of filth,

Full of dark sorrow,

And like an ocean,

In him will be submeged,

My self-contempt

My foolish longings

And I will be pure

Thus i bid farewell

To memories

To sweet fancies

To portraits of you

Goodbye,adieu

I'll try to forget

Again I am clean

Again I am happy

Goodbye once beloved

Watch how I wave,

But I don't expect

You're hand to wave back
