Fingers melting into sand

Arrid waves make your thoughts destraught

Who thought the world could be so hot?

No smirks or smlies in you hand this time.

Luggish steps and softly broken shoes

Staggering to be in line with the ground

On the invisible lines that make up

Where to get and what to be.

Can't you see past all the air?

Your sweat can't taste like sugar

Hair in your eyes

And rocks in your head

Rattling everytime you trip and fall

You said you wanted to love

And I said you wanted to run

You can't escape this escape

The floor slips under your soul

You can only fall

You can only fall

And you can only fall

Please don't give up

Please don't give in

Try to live a better person.

But in my dreams,

Your drugged out eyes space out on me

And slowly disapate into vision

And reveal nothing more than hope.
