Arms thrown above her head
in ecstasy.
Eyes not seeing
What is before her
only
what is in her mind's
eye.
Singing in the
Ancient voice of times
Long past,
Her silken garment
Flows
To and fro.
Hair swinging
around her head
Forming a crown
Only she shall wear.
Thus is the entrance,
The entrance of the dancer.
