Part I

She lives in the darkness

Trying to hide

From her emotions

Deep, down inside

She thinks she can’t feel

She thinks no one understands

But Denial can put power

Into the wrong hands

Yes, Denial’s curse

Made her whole being exposed

If only she could except Love

Her mind, then, would be closed

She constantly refuses

To let herself go

So now everyone will pay

Because she didn’t let him know…

Part II

So now that she has found her way out

Now that she is ridden of doubt

She can spread her arms out wide

And finally take the time

To breathe through out her life

No longer bothered by strife

Her and her love

Will live in the haven

Where she can finally say,

“My name is Raven.”
