A/N: Yes I do realize there may be some inconsistansies with Millie's speech but I never live in the 1600's so I wouldn't know exactly how they spoke.
Scene 3: Water
Setting- Still in the forest the sound of water in growing in strength. Cara is running through the forest she still holds the two jugs.

Millie: (stands up) The river’s banks are right there. Why are you in such a rush?
Cara: (walking towards the river) I have friends waiting for me back at my camp.
Millie: (following Cara) Camp? You mean you’re not from a town? You’re not from around here?
Cara: No, I’m not from around here.
Millie: Why do you dress in men’s clothes?
Cara: (looks back at Millie’s dress and then out in front of her) Where I come from these are girls’ clothes as well.
Millie: Oh.
Cara’s Thoughts in the Background: Okay, if she thinks these are men’s clothes then we must have ripped through time. Damn. What now? Wait maybe we’re just in Amish country.
Cara: (voice) So Millicent.
Millie: My friends call me Millie.
Cara: Okay, Millie where are we?
Millie: We are in the Salem Woods.
Cara: (stops) Salem Woods. I thought you said you lived in Eatonville.
Millie: (walks to Cara’s side and stops) I do but if you walk through the woods by Eatonville, eventually you’ll reach Salem.
Cara: (begins to walk again) Salem… Salem, Massachusetts?
Millie: (follows Cara) Yes.
The two girls sit down by the river
Cara: (cups her hands, sticks the in the water and drinks) Thank God!
Millie: (does the same) What’s so special about this water?
Cara: (sticks one jug into the water) I haven’t had a drink for over 10 hours.
Millie: That is a long time.
Cara: (sticks the other jug in the water) Yes it is.
Millie: (looks at the jugs) Those are awfully large pitchers.
Cara: (putting one around her arm) Yes they are but we need water.
Millie: (takes the other) I’ll help you. How many of you are there?
Cara: (starts to walk) There were 9 but 5 of them went to find the nearest town.
Millie: (follows Cara) Wow.
Cara: (cups her hands, sticks the in the water and drinks) Thank God!

Ali: (sighs) She’ll be here soon.
Niky: (looks at her watch) it’s almost 5.
Laura: I feel like I’m going to die.
Ali: Just don’t fall asleep.
Laura: Thanks a lot.
Cara’s Voice in the distance: Yes I really do need to run.
Millie’s Voice in the distance: I can’t go that fast.
Cara’s Voice in the distance: Well you are also carrying the fruit so you might be a little slower.
Laura: (sits up and opens her eyes) Water? Food?
Ali: (stands up) Cara! Cara! Hurry!
Cara and Millie come into the clearing
Laura: (runs slowly to Cara) Water please…
Ali: (walks over to Cara) Fruit please…
Niky: (walks to Millie) Hello. Who are you?
Millie: (shakes Niky’s hand) Millie Sodder.
Niky: I’m Niky Ingle. This is Laura Gem. And this is Ali Ville.
Millie: (curtsies) Niky is a funny name. What does it mean?
Niky: (laughs) it is short for Nicole.
Millie: (stands up straight) Oh…
Cara: (pulls Laura and Ali aside and whispers) I know where we are.
Ali: (jaw drops) Really?
Laura: (looks surprised) Where?
Cara: (lowers her voice) Just outside Salem, Massachusetts in the year 1692.
Laura: (mouth a gape) Wow.
Ali: (thinking quickly) Uh oh. Excuse me Millie what day is it?
Millie: (counting on her fingers) February 29.
Ali: (puts her hand to her forehead) Oh shit.
Laura: (realizes what Ali means) Millie what is the biggest new around town today?
Millie: (thinks) The witches and their trials.
Cara: Oh no.
Niky: (grimaces) Shoot.
Laura: (takes a gulp of water) Not good.
Millie: (looks curiously) What’s not good?
Ali: (thinking quickly) Well we are just afraid that one of us might get accused because we dress differently.
Millie: (laughs) They don’t accuse people of being witches for being different. They accuse them of witchcraft.
Cara: (lowers her voice to Ali) She’s not from 2006 she doesn’t know about the conspiracy theory.

Linzi: (stretching) Very good nap.
Angie: (moaning) Still sleeping.
Jess: (standing up) Come on get up we’ve just gone 12 hours without liquid.
Linzi: (moaning and standing up) Don’t remind me.
Emily: (still laying down) How are we supposed to get water?
Kat: (thinking) I may be able to conjure something to bring us some.
Angie: (sighs) Water good.
Kat does something weird by throwing a folded paper clip toward where water most likely was
Jess: (rolls her eyes) and that helped how?
Kat: (sighing) Just watch.
Emily: (rolling back over) Wake me up when we have water.
Linzi: (leaning her head back) Can you figure out where we are?
Angie: (thinking) Probably somewhere back in time.
Linzi: (looking at Angie) Why do you say that?
Angie: No construction.
Linzi: (sitting down) ah
Emily: (screams) Squirrel! AH!!! Get it away!
Jess: (kicks at the squirrel) For God’s sake Emily, it’s not rabid.
Emily: (staring evilly) You never know.
Jess: (sighing) do you see it chasing us? No
Emily: (pouts) fine
Kat: (grabbing a floating pitcher) Water.
Angie: (running over) Thank God
The rest of the girls run over and drink some of the water: results in an empty pitcher
