Crack Addict

Such a sick sound,

Yet so very satisfying.

It can't be a sign,

Of good mental health.

It's bad mannered,

And vulgar besides,

But resistance is agony,

And I've given up trying.

I'd rather crack my knuckles,

Until they break.

This bad habit of mine,

Is here to stay.

(Crack, crack, crack.)

Soft self-abuse,

Until joints come loose.

I won't will this vice away.
