Phantom Oppression

Ancient streams of tears

Reflecting all their fears

Stale emotions flare

With every passing glare

Cloth covering our eyes

So we are free to despise

Cinder blocks of pain

Product of selfish gain

Claws still wound

Relationships ruined

Opening the gate

Of never-ending hate

We had the choice

To speak as one voice

But long before Holocaust

All forgiveness was lost

Finally I see

Harmony can never be

With this lasting impression

Of Phantom Oppression
