“So… where are we going now?” asked Arisa.

Yuki stared at her, saying, “Umm, well we are LOST!!! Again…”

Arisa stared around, pointing and asking, “Didn’t we pass that tree before?”

Yuki looked at it. “Yeah, I think we did…” he muttered, “God, I hate forests….”

A loud snap came from behind the tree. Arisa and Yuki turned quickly around.

“Who’s there?” called Yuki

“MOOOOOOOO!!!!” came from the tree.

“What the....” Yuki went to look behind the tree, “It’s a blue cow!”

The cow followed. “Awwwwwww!!!” said Arisa, “She’s so cute!!!

“It could be a he, you know,” said Yuki.

“It’s a SHE,” Arisa said simply, before rambling on about how the soul signified that the cow was female.

“Ok, whatever,” Yuki said, holding his hands in front of him, “You KNOW I can’t understand that,’

“I bet she’s lost!! Just like us…” Arisa said.

“Ummm, maybe she lives in that big blue castle over there….” Yuki pointed over to the west of where they were standing.

“We should take her there!” said Arisa happily.

“But-”

“No buts! She needs to go back to her owner!”

“Fine…”

“Ok, little cow, let’s go back to mommy!!” Arisa got up and lead the cow towards the blue castle.

“No comment,” muttered Yuki. Just then he thought of something

“Wait up, Arisa!” he called. He jogged to catch up. “Don’t you remember that girl from the village? The one who told us about the blue cows taking over the world?”

Arisa stopped. “Yeah…” she said.

“Well this cow is dangerous!!” said Yuki.

“But, Yuki she’s just a baby!!” Arisa said, patting the cow’s head.

Yuki looked at the cow, and then at Arisa. “Fine, let’s go give it to whoever owns it,”

Arisa smiled and walked on. Looking up she saw a girl on a blue horse.

“What the-?!” Arisa muttered, staring, but before she could say any thing else the girl jumped up the horse and ran to them.

“MIRIMA!!!!!” she yelled “MY POOR BABY!!!” She gave the baby cow a big hug, “My cowie wowie poo baby poo!!! NEVER do that to mommy again!!!” She was holding onto Mirima as if for dear life. She got up and looked at Yuki and Arisa

“HI!!!!!!! I’m Alatariel!!!!” she grinned happily.

“Ok …” said Yuki looking and Arisa and doing the crazy sign and mouthing ‘This girl is psychotic!’ Alatariel failed to notice.

Arisa looked at the girl closer. “Hey, aren’t you the girl from the village?” she asked, “The one who said the blue cow were going to take over the world?”

“YEAH!!!! THAT’S ME!!!!” she said, still happy.

“But you keep the cows?” asked Yuki.

“Yeah!!! I’m going to take over the world and they are going to help me!!!!!”

“Are you SURE you’re not missed at the insane asylum?” said Yuki.

Alatariel gave him an evil look. “But YOU are Yuki!!!!” she said, “And you’re Arisa!!” Alatariel pointed to Arisa.

“How do you know us?” asked Arisa.

“I watch you!!!! The same way I watch them!!”

“Them?” asked Yuki.

“Yes, the ones that are trying to stop me from taking over the world!!! The whole ice cubes thing didn’t work….”

“I don’t even want to know…” said Yuki.

“Thank you soooo much for finding Mirima for me!!” said Alatariel. She turned around. “DANNY!!!!!!! OH DANNY!!!!!!!” A small boy came up with two bags of food and gave them to Yuki and Arisa.

“For you!!!” said Alatariel, “Have fun wherever you’re going!”

“We don’t really know…” said Arisa.

“That’s ok!! You will find out soon!!” said Alatariel.

Arisa looked at the horse, and asked, “Can I ride your horse? Pleeeease?”

“OK! But be nice!” Alatariel helped Arisa on and watched as the horse trotted around.

“Sooo you and Arisa got it going on!” said Alatariel

“What thee heck does that mean?!” asked Yuki

Alatariel sighed, “Never mind…but you do like her?"

Yuki blushed furiously.

“I KNEW IT!! Hehe!!” Alatariel said, very proud of herself.

“Don’t tell her, ok?” Yuki said, glaring at her.

“I won’t!!!”

Arisa came back. “Alatariel, I love your horse!” she said.

“Really? Well then, you can borrow her!!!” said Alatariel.

“Really?” said Arisa, grinning, “Thank you!”

“Well, Danny and I need to go… bye!! And have fun wherever you’re going!” Alatariel and the boy ran back to the blue castle.

Yuki looked after them, saying, “Well, they were odd…”

“Come on, Yuki, we need to go too,” said Arisa.

Yuki got on the horse behind Arisa and they rode on.
