Photograph

Your photograph be reminiscent

Of every single memory of you

Of the way you’ve always been so perfect to me

And how I have become so flawed to you

This photograph shall serve me

As a token of a misstep I have made

An error that may be someday

In future decision shall be my aid

Every time I found glimpse at this photo

Pain is glancing back at me

A moment captured so permanent

As this painful scar, which can’t be mend

Evoking the picture hurts deeply within my chest

With a pain that numbs my breast

Even if I forget things in the future

I will always remember this picture

Authors Note:

This is my first attempt on a poem that falls into the category of love. This poem is also inspired and based on experiences. Anyway, don’t forget to review after reading, or read after you review, whatever works.
