Detest thy Enemies

My chest is closing in again

I’ve been patient for way too long

My hatred is consuming me again

Hide from me please

Don’t let my detest reach you

I am the one getting scared for your sake

When my hatred smells you out

I can’t promise I won’t make a mistake

And if destiny frown upon you

And my hand makes its way through your throat

I’ll be happier if you could fight back

I don’t want to show pity to you

But even if you did fight back

I don’t see me loosing to you right now

I’ll find bliss giving you pain

I’ll find content in your shame

I’m not asking for your apology

I don’t intend to find a better way

The time you find your way to your hell

Will be the happiest of my day

Authors Note:

This is my first attempt on a poem, which falls into the category of Angst, I’m not sure how I did but it sure fired me up writing this kind of poem. Anyway, you’ll be the judge on how I did. Constructive criticisms are very welcomed.
