Heaven's Rhapsody

by fabian cortez

I trace my tongue through

Brackish ocean s o'er

Crashing waves

To subtle shades

& whimpers

-

Embracing such bounty

To my soul, I relish

Your glorious flesh

To swim engulfed

By such majesty

Awes me

-

You swallow my body

As if I'm drowning

Yet spew me forth, so to

Overwhelm me

Again in repetitious

Wonder

-

Still I excite for more

Your undulating contours

So powerful, as to see such

Wrecks on your horizon

Entice me in challenge

I am wanton to

Such fervent pleasure

-

You draw me near

I quake, you cry out

So drag me gripped tightly

To your tides snow crested

Obliteration, yet I breathe

Exhausted & satisfied

Beyond words

-

I am washed upon a beach

In dunes of flesh

Embraced by arms

Of Venus still

Entwined in heaven's

Rhapsody, as aquamarine

Rose petals rain down

About me, I sigh

For I am in Love
