This story is all mine and I own everything in it….except for October…that’s not mine. This is mainly yaoi. Although the main character is female…her relationship status is on hiatus. That’s for later! Hope you like! No stupid reviews! Boyxboy!
--beginning--
Soaring high into the bright morning sky of October, he swooped down low, only to come back up and circle the world beneath him once more. Scanning through the crowd of distorted and blurry human faces…..he gave out a loud screech that didn’t go unheard to the only clear and visible face.
… “CAAWW!! CAAAWW!”
…”CooOOoo oo!! CooOOoo oo!!”
Down on the Earth below, the girl, strangely singled out, smiled to her self and laughed.
They really were a pair. Looking for a secluded area in the busy streets of Crawford Main, she walked calmly across the street to a bright, green, and lush park. Known for its beauty and serenity, Lovely Park was the very heart of this over-crowded city. It was actually named after the Mayor’s daughter, Lovely Crawford. They were a conceited bunch; always demanding and arrogant. And their youngest daughter…she was the only sane one in the family. Her name was Ariyan. She was named after her mother’s favorite sister, and, coincidentally, her favorite aunt.
She was as beautiful as they got. This means she was fucking sexy. However you wish to phrase it. With long dark brown hair containing light streaks of blond here and there, slanted chocolate eyes, full pink lips, and a light caramel colored skin, it was kind of hard to go wrong.
Officially against everything her father had ever said, she was a free spirit that required no rule; only guidance. That is where the two figures currently resting on each of her shoulders came in.
“It wasn’t MY fault I couldn’t see through all that slime over there!”
“YES IT WAS! How can you say that? It was totally and completely your fault! You would’ve been flying aimlessly for days if I hadn’t have said anything!”
“AH! SO not true!”
“Can you two rejects stop yelling in my ears? People are looking at me strangely!”
“Well, it’s not MY fault that you can talk to us BIRDS…emphasis on talk…”
“Oh my GOD! It’s totally and COMPLETELY your fault! Emphasis on YOUR!”
And the two birds sat there perched on Ariyan’s shoulders…squawking and cawing at each other….loudly. Attracting attention from random passerby.
“SHUT THE FUCK UP!”
The two birds immediately fell silent. Still throwing glares at one another. The girl let out an exasperated sigh. The crow was the first to speak.
“We’re sorry Ari. You know how we get. It wouldn’t be this bad if that sorry excuse for a peace symbol over there would just grow some brains!”
“HEY! I’m not sorry! And I do have brains!”
“Says you…at least I don’t branch off from the pigeon family…”
“You know this isn’t my true form, ANGEL! I’m just as smart as YOU!”
She sighed once again and stood up abruptly, causing the two birds to flap their wings rapidly in order to not hit the ground with a painful thud. They hovered in the air a bit and then finally landed on the soft green patches of grass next to Ariyan’s feet. The two males looked up at her to see her usual, lazy smirk. She knew it couldn’t be helped. It was the only way they could remain in constant contact with one another without having to make awkward excuses.
She could tell ever since she first received these unearthly guardians. They were sort of like her fairy godparents minus the wishing. But they could make things happen. That’s not the point right now. She could tell that they loved each other even if they did not know it themselves. It was SO obvious. I mean…they were always…ALWAYS staring at each other. Or what they like to call a “glare.”
They were totally gay for each other. What she wouldn’t give for some yaoi right now.
…Wandering thoughts…comic book store...wandering thoughts…comic book store clerk…wandering thoughts…comic book store clerk with comic book store geek. That guy was a stalker. He always followed the clerk….oh God, was it Gary? Yeah…that’s it his name was Gary. Paul the geek went to the comic book store everyday just to see Gary and hardly ever bought anything. It was always very funny to catch Paul staring at Gary when he was with another customer. They both went to school with Ari; although she didn’t know them personally, they shared art class together.
She always had a vision in her head of playing matchmaker. She wanted to get Gary and Paul together because it was obvious Gary liked Paul as much as Paul liked Gary. But, most of all, she wanted to get the dove named Damon and the crow named Angel together. She made herself a promise that she would pursue her dream soon enough…very soon in fact. As she finished her ritual Sunday evening ice cream cone, she walked over to the limousine that had been tailing her since she left the mansion.
After her distracting thoughts were cleared from her head, she rolled down the window and allowed the two birds to fly in undetected by the driver…the tinted window separating the front and back portions of the elongated car was rolled up and locked anyway. The dove sat quietly on a mini refrigerator and ruffled his feathers, trying to cool down. The crow sat perched on the head rest across from Ari.
Once again, Angel stared transfixed at Damon as if he were the most beautiful thing on this Earth. Damon paid no mind of course; he was completely caught up in grooming himself. He began to comb through his pristine feathers with his talons as if there had never been a rainy day during his existence here.
Angel felt shame for he was black. A dirty color. He felt that he could never be as “clean” as this beautiful creature before him. ‘Oh dear Lord…Did I really just think that? Well, I know I did, but why? Why must I have these human tendencies, even as a damn bird! I can’t even control my own thoughts. They’ve been wandering lately…’
Suddenly Damon looked up as if remembering something. If you could see Angel’s skin right now, it would be flushed. He had been caught. He tried his best to turn his surprised and widened eyes into a hard, malicious glare…which was really attractive on the black crow. Damon turned away seeming to have forgotten his recent worries.
Ariyan looked upon this with amusement and tried to stifle a laugh. Instead of erupting like a first-time drunk, she snorted loudly and painfully and had to cover her smile. The two birds looked out opposite windows.

As soon as Ari stepped out of the limousine, she ran past the driver (whom which was still holding the door open for her) and to the side of the overly large house. An unnecessarily large forest surrounded the mansion. It wasn’t really a forest because it was man-made, but it separated the establishment from the rest of the city. She ran into a small clearing in between the trees and followed the path she had begun herself eleven years ago. When she was five. When her mother left to live with her sister for reasons Ari didn’t want to dwell on.
Of course she as allowed to visit them every so often. She loved her mother and aunt dearly, but she was disappointed that her mother would leave her here alone with her father. Winston Crawford was an angry, mean shit-eater. As was Lovely. His favorite daughter obviously...When Winston and Lovely became too much to handle, she would escape here. Her secret hideout. Her own little secret garden. This was where she first received her guardians. They were fairly new at it and had only just met a few days prior when they were told they would be embodied as birds and were to guard a young girl. Ari was only about six then. So she was thrilled to have someone to talk to and play with.
So, yeah…history commenced and now everyone is older and smarter (with the exception of Damon). Sitting in between the white roses and her assorted tulips, she released the two birds from her grasp and they flew off instantly to two different trees. Looking a bit shaken up, they glanced nervously around.
Ariyan laughed at this. She always grabbed them and held them close together as to avoid further speculation. People don’t just walk out on the street with birds on their shoulders. That’s crazy…
But of course, she always pressed them together in just the right way so that their beaks would almost hit if they didn’t turn their heads. giggle Birds are SO cool.
Today was a nice day, actually. Everything was calm and peaceful. Courtesy of Damon. She had repainted her dark blue and green nails that morning. She even had time to make up her bed…she usually let the maids do that because when she was busy she let the maids do her work. They get paid either way. But for some reason she had too much free time this morning…Usually on Sundays, the first thing she did was…
‘OH SHIT! I forgot my homework!’
She then proceeded to scramble to her feet. She ran through the clearing and disappeared behind the randomly assorted bushes and trees.
“Wow…Think she finally remembered her five page essay?”
Angel nodded his black head and added an, “Oh yeah.”
“Well then, that’s our cue…”
The two oppositely colored birds flew off toward the open window of Ari’s fourth floor; both stealing glances at one another the entire way.

Whelp…there is my new story…I wrote it all in one day….today. I was really inspired. Usually when I’m inspired the computer isn’t available at that time…like last week when I got like five story ideas, and promptly forgot them…we were in trouble and were restricted from the pc….gaaaaay.
Tell me what you think about this…I’ll continue either way…There will be more of Gary and Paul in the next chapter seeing as Monday is a school day. As you can see this story is third-person omniscient and will be everyone’s p.o.v. and I will specify when needed.
Tell me what ya think! I personally love this one. My fave! REVIEW PLEASE!
