I don’t believe anyone will understand the connections I make here. I really have to stop writing in this style, it’s quite difficult to decode. Maybe it’s the imagery that needs work? Hmm. Anyway, comments would be awesome.

Integrity

Stumble, stutter,

A grandiose integrity

Deformed before the silence shatters.

Breath fogs my vision,

Heart racing through fragile eyes;

And mockery awaits -- a trial of sneering faces.

All the world’s a stage,

Though I’d rather be in the audience

Or even barricaded out the doors,

A clumsy step from the edge of the universe.

This frisbee of a theatre shooting through the sky

Beaded strings of light slipping from me to

You.

Just the bland carcass of yet another cow,

Follow the pack and leer, for I know that –

One day, you’ll fall face first on a land mine.
