In the Silent Night
Author:

Quietly, i think of you... and the questions so carelessly throw away with answers, and yet, right now i still grasp that tiny light of hope... if only i could break the silence between us. Read and review, very much appreciated.

In the Silent Night

-

Faint whispers in the dark

Slipping away ever so quietly

Under the twinkle of stars

Moving ever so silently

-

Night is this blackened veil

Embracing the slumbering world

Oblivious, nothing to reveal

Yet, to the quivering light I hold

Closer to my heart forever more

A gentle prayer I weave

Words into the silent night

Drifting when I turn to leave

-

So, perhaps one day

Wandering the edge of time

You shall find

Remnants of that shivering light

Those everlasting words left behind

My prayer to you

Someday

In the silent night
