Anti-Perfect

Please forgive me
No where near good enough for you
No matter how painful, it's the truth
Nothing can satisfy
Your words I never defy
Crawling on hands and knees
To make you smile down at me
Perfect by nature in others eyes
I can see through your lies
I hide, in disguise
I smile, act like it's a dream
I pretend it's not hurting me
I want to embrace you, for myself to keep
Not good enough, it's out of the question
I hate myself, pierces my heart so deep
If I died you still wouldn't be satisfied
You said you would, you lied!
I put the gun to my head
Pulled the trigger
You were infront of me, you lingered
You watched me die
I'm sorry, I wasn't perfect
Echoed my last cry
