What has happened here?

Why have I changed?

What good could come of this?

Why can’t I be the same?

In what seems such a short time,

I feel like I’ve changed for the worse.

Why can’t I stop being this way?

Why can’t I just hit reverse?

Life is harsh, and I know your there.

But I’ve called out so much,

Now it seems like I’m talking to air.

Please God, don’t let me die!

Not now since life has finally gotten better.

Don’t let me deny the ones I love most.

Especially you my Lord and Savior.

Please, don’t let me change for the worse.
