close your eyes and see the record spinning

your antique store find is playing Connor

like she's never been played before

sing it like you're not afraid of who's listening

feel it moving up, down, sideways

some passages appear to be circling in mid-air

orchestras awake behind you, careening to an impossible finish

ignore that key turning in the door

close your eyes tight

sing it as if you are there

find me amid that aurora-colored rush

how little we know

how much to discover
