Glaring Dream
Admist a noisy crowd of people in the city
The words we spoke start to melt away
Brushed against my feet
Are memories that
Won't let us forget what we once had
I wander aimlessly
But the guiding lights of the town
Are glaring one way
Illuminate me on the verge of freezing
In times like these
When it's so cold outside
We try to reach for our dreams
As they fall down as snow
I'm counting my wishes
As I slowly start to wake
You're in the wandering vision, my sight
That's my glaring dream
You're the silhouette that slowly starts to melt away
Even if the gentleness
Could make me forget
I still would want to have tomorrow
You and me could start this over
But then the scars will be harder to erase
I still walk alone
But everything I see soon turns into
A life winter dream
Make angels on the ground
As they hold my memories
In times like these
When it's so cold outside
We try to reach for our dreams
As they fall down as snow
I'm counting my wishes
As I slowly start to wake
You're in the wandering vision, my sight
That's my glaring dream
You're the silhouette that slowly starts to melt away
Our dreams fall from the sky
But they're so fragile that
Without even breathing on them
They slowly start to break
I'd cry that finally tear
Before we all start to wake
We can't make our dreams freeze
In times like these
When it's so cold outside
We try to reach for our dreams
As they fall down as snow
I'm counting my wishes
As I slowly start to wake
You're in the wandering vision, my sight
That's my glaring dream
You're the silhouette that slowly starts to melt away
