I'm glued to the memory of you

They say divorce hurts like a death

Why did i have to lose you both?

I hated her for what she did.

But why would Daddy's girl ever see you wrong?

Since that day, and thos ethat passed

I've felt so lost, and bound down fast

The chains around my ankles tight

I find my comfort in moonlight

The shining hope of something far

You want to keep it in a jar

and stare all say and say 'It's Mine'

And when that's over pass teh timne

By watching on, it gives you strength

to do the things you saw at length

To write a book, or sing a song

I know I'll get there.

Won't be long
