Spirit Warriors

Prologue

In the year 2020, scientist came upon a new discovery. By fusing human cells with that of animals and elements, they created a new race. They called the race Spirits, for their long lifetimes and special abilities.

Every Spirit had one of the four powers known as their Spirit Special, Speed, Strength, Skill, or Sorcery. Speed was the ability of quick movement and agility. Strength was the ability to lift much weight. Skill was the ability to be a superb fighter. Sorcery was the ability to do magic and control the elements.

Over time the Spirits were sub divided. The good ones were called Angels. The bad ones were called Devils. The Devils caused much grief to the Angels and humans. The humans started fearing all Spirits and banned both the Angels and Devils from must of their towns, leaving all but four towns allowing integration.

Four human maidens, one from each town, fell in love with four Angel males. They wedded and each had a child. When the children were about five, the Devils attacked each town, completely destroying it, leaving only one survivor in each town, the half-breed children.

No village would take in the children that attracted Devils to them. An old master at a temple, though, did. He lived outside the laws of the town and cared for the children, raising them each in their Spirit Special. Raidon with Skill, Shina with Sorcery, Midori with Speed, and Hiroshi with Strength.

These children were raised to be fighters against the Devils and peace keepers amongst the Angels and humans. They were named the Spirit Warriors and chose to dedicate their lives repairing the rift between Spirits and humans.
