Cursed

He looks at the world,

Through wounded eyes.

He can't find peace,

Even in his sleep.

The curse of death,

Looms high above him.

It follows him,

Wherever he goes.

His fears lay sleeping,

As he faces the struggles in life.

The scars are hidden,

Under his mask of illusion.

His fears awaken,

Only to cause more pain.

The illusions of his accursed past,

Come back to haunt him.

He is cursed,

But he accepts it.

Life itself,

Holds no more meaning to him.
