I've had this for a while but I didn't post it thinking it wasn't good enough; anyway enjoy this poem I wrote in Theology class.

Forgiveness is Lost
Your glaring eyes and cold heart
My soul hates
You say you're nice and gentle
I can't believe
You call my name and want me to follow
But I won't
You hold out your hand and want me to grab it
It's covered in blood
Even tears from the sky can't cleanse it
Forgiveness is lost
The heart that I once mentioned
It's covered in ice
The words you once muttered
Are lost in the wind
My name that you called
I'm gone forever
Everything you once held dear
They've disappeared for eternity
You ask me again and I shake my head
Forgiveness is lost
The choices you made
The prices those people paid
Their lives can never be remade
Forgiveness is lost
