Wading Through the Water

I wade through the water,

The cold chilling my skin.

The wind becomes colder,

As the sun hides again.

The water becomes deep,

And I can no longer touch the floor.

My breath I try to keep

As water seeps into my core.

My mind starts to fog

And my vision begins to blur.

I'm sinking into the fosse,

Fearing what's to occur.

Through the blur I see

Your hand diving beneath,

Reaching out to save me

And pulling me up from underneath.
