The rain falls heavily

The sky has turned to gray

The air is filled with drums

As you try to find your way

You wander down the walk

Ignoring others on the lane

And you contemplate your loss

While trying to stay sane

The water drips off you

Trying to wash you clean

But it just rolls away

Leaving you to dream

You dream of many things

That others do not know

But only one you dream
