Remember how it always seemed
When life was just a sheltered dream
Before my heart was dotted lines
What I'd give to be fifteen
The urge is slipping, time is weaving
I'm turning back to my believing
That hey, life's just a game
And this is too soon to be leaving
I'm amazed, my feet still stand and walk
My lips, unkissed, can surely talk
And even laugh, a gentle sound
That makes my heart unlock
It's all just touches, words, and dust
But it was more than love or lust
I'm looking ahead, but I won't forget
How it was to be fifteeen
