Chapter one: you’re name is....
Why is it so dark?’ the blackness pressing in on me
'I can't remember....how did I ....when...why ....I am who ....?'I can't remember.
‘‘What should we do with that patient ..? She’s been here for almost three years now’ I could hear a female’s voice coming from some where followed by another speaking.
‘‘We can not just simply throw her unconscious body out into the gutter....''he sounded tired as if he had to repeat this same thing over and over to everyone. The female’s voice however continued to insist on doing something with the patients sleeping body ‘but sir. .you’re majesty has ordered that every bed in the health center possible be ready for any arriving soldiers. We need every bed possible.''
The doctor sighed and opened the door leading to the dark room where I was laying on what felt like a bed. I quickly closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep again; I don't know why I did it tough. I heard the door creak open and a cold draft followed by footsteps ‘her body has weakened over the years ...when she wakes up it will take a long time for her muscles to start working again ..I wish I could do something for her though.'' he sounded sorry for me, just hearing the sound in his voice made me feel sorry for myself even though I don't even know who I am .I felt a cold hand on my cheek, he was petting me? Why would he want to pet me? I think it's about time to wake up or lord knows what else he might decide to pet. Just as I was about to open my eyes I heard a door knock ''come in ''said the man removing his hand from my cheek .I heard the door creak open again and footsteps coming as hurriedly as the cold draft.
‘‘Madame Jinsei, the head doctor requests your prescens at the emergency room.'' Said a ladies voice hurriedly. 'I wonder where I am for it to be this busy around here...' I thought to myself. the woman who was talking to the man left in hurry ‘finally' I thought thinking that the man had left too .I slowly opened my eyes but had to close them quickly again when I saw the light coming from a corner .I groaned as it stung my eyes and was surprised when I heard a ''huh?!'' coming from beside me and rushed footsteps hurrying over to my bed and leaned over me ,I only noticed he was leaning over me because the weird read light I could see when my eyes where closed suddenly turned black again. I felt the same hand take hold of my wrist an place to fingers there as if trying to find something. I tried to open my eyes once again to see who it was.
Slowly I began to see the form of a boy in front of me he looked quiet young. ‘Why is he smiling?' I thought to my self as he waited for me to fully awake. As I started to sit up I felt his hand on my back as if trying to help me up ''you’re awake ..!''He said more to himself than me ''this is ...great!’’ he kept one of his hand on my shoulder. I turned to him but was still having trouble seeing I tried to say something but all that came out was a weak mumble .but the mumble seemed to make him happy.
‘‘Hello. I am Raven and you are?''he asked me 'so his name is Raven 'I thought as I started to wake up properly I simply shrugged my arms to his question 'good question’ I told myself. I could see him properly now he looked young he had dark brown hair an black eyes well they looked black to me. I shivered as the blanket fell of me .I had been sleeping in a short sleeveless robe that only reached as far as just above my knees it looked light blue but might have been a darker shade some time ago, all tied by a material belt of the same shade. I wrapped my arms around my self to keep warm, my head was so messed up all I wanted to do now was know, know who I am ,where I am and why I was there?.
Raven must have noticed I was cold and confused, he pulled the blanket over my shoulder and wrapped his arm around me and said in soft voice ‘’don’t worry I will look after you now, you don't have to remember any thing yet...only when you're ready ''I felt so safe with him near even though he was a complete stranger to me I began to drift of into a slumber until I heard him speak again ‘’that’s right you don't have a name?’’ I simply nodded trying to think of my name again, nothing came to my head accept for a new head ache, I winced Raven noticed it and began to pet my hair ''would you like for me to give you a new name for now?’’ he suggested ,I nodded 'that would be nice ' I thought as he began thinking of a name ''lets see ..'' he said turning to look at me ''Mmm.......you have green eyes, brown hair like mine, you look pretty fast if you could stand, big eyes and curly eye-lashes ...and look too innocent and cute. I know how about Xylia?Or xylona? '' I nodded to the first happily and shaked my head to the second 'prefer the first ,wonder what it means though...oh well, suppose I will just have to ask him when I get my voice back' ''right so you’re names Xylia!'' he said as I nuzzled back into his chest and began to drift of ''g'night Xylia...''I heard him say as I drifted of 'g'night Raven 'were my last thought as I knew no more till the next day.
Just so that you know:
Xylia origin: Greek means: wood dweller
Raven origin: English Means: Raven
Why I named them so?
Xylia: because as Raven guessed she is fast and looks like the wood dwelling type of person like an earth elf
Raven: not because of his hair but because of his eyes almost black
