‘‘Blah'' talking
over the next few days I learned more about raven .Turns out he was a land lords son, he decided to go into medicine because he knew a lot of commoners who has died because the received no treatment … including his first love .He spoke a lot about that girl, her name was Belledandy ,she sounded like a nice person ,kind , gentle and caring .Raven fell in love with her at first sight , they were going to get married but there where a few complications ,Ravens father had nothing against it but the father of Belledandy seemed to think that there was something wrong with a commoner marrying a landlords daughter ,he tried to convince her that Raven only wanted her for her looks and he would punish her and lock her up so that she wouldn’t go out to see raven , because of this she fell ill and there where no doctors near that area so she died before raven and her could plan there get away to get married .
Raven said that that was why he didn’t want to let me die, because I reminded him of Belledandy .When he told me that I smiled, I was happy knowing that I was making him happy with me there ,but when he told me that he looked at me pitifully as if he felt sorry for me now that I knew I was only kept alive because I reminded him of his dead love. I didn’t mind, if only I could speak at that moment I would have told him so.
After a few days I was taken to go and live with raven. he lives in a small room that he rents from an old man who owns the building, he’s not the only one renting a room there ,there’s the young lady Jane who works as a waitress in the bar down the road ,the old lady who lost her house and children in a fire and mister Liam who works as a night guard in another bar ,but much fancier ,it’s owned by some rich lord , Kain, who visits this town sometimes when he isn’t of on a journey, he and Raven are on friendly terms because Raven had saved his life ! .
Turns out one night when Kain came back from a trip he went straight to his bar to have a snack , unfortunately a piece of bone got stuck in his throat causing him to choke and turn purple luckily Raven had been there and ,giving orders to a bigger man , saved Kains life making him cough up the bone .When he told me this I pulled a face that clearly should that I thought the''coughing up a piece of bone '' was disgusting ,he just laughed at me and petted my head ,I glared at him and he just laughed harder so I just grinned sheepishly at him .
I started practicing walking yesterday! So far not so good my , my legs are very weak and I can’t remember very well how to keep my balance Kain says the for now I should try and just stand once I can do that I should start slowly by taking baby steps .So far I haven’t left this small room but many people have come to meet me ,all the other people who live on this floor , Kain and a few other nice people ,friends ,of Raven .
I barley ever see Raven anymore he spends most of his time in the hospital .there very busy down there ,at the hospital , Raven says it’s because the king of this country, I think this country is called Quaneri , has decided to go to war with another kings country because that king ,I think he is the king of a country called Koin , had started taking some of the territory of this country .I don’t know why they fight ? can’t they all just share the land ? Like I am living with Raven.
Last night Raven came home early and made a small supper for us, vegetable soup, my favorite! Vegetable soup is actually one of the very few words that I have learned so far, but I still have a bit of trouble pronouncing it I keep on saying ''vegegetable shoup'' and whenever I say that Raven laughs at me so I just stick out my tongue at him and start eating while he just keeps on smiling at me and eventually starting on his own soup. The other words I have learned so far are ''hello'' ''bye bye '' ''Raven ''and ''cat'' .
I love cats! the old lady down the hall has two big fat cats that go purr whenever you pet them .Raven said he might get me one too a small kitten but only when I start walking, so that I can look after it .I can’t wait to start walking so I can have my cat, so I am going to practice everyday .I want a cat to snuggle with at night when I’m in bed and hear it go purr al night .I sleep in the same little bed as Raven , he keeps his arms rapped around me all night as if he thinks I am going to fall out or something ,maybe he thinks I am going runaway ? silly brother .
On the second day that I woke-up he told me that ''from now on I am going to be like your big brother ,I am going to look after you forever '' when he said that I felt very happy ,waking up from that long sleep was startling I don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t had Raven there to comfort me .
