We met up with the runner at the marked location. He handed us a map to the regional capital. He said that Kafka was caught up in a small skirmish with the forces he had mentioned in the last message, but not to worry because the force was a small one and was a proper army and not one of those guerrilla forces that like to attack once you take the territory. Gods, that scares me. I have no training in that sort of thing, and none of the FCs I have has ever encountered anything like that. The only commander I have heard of that has had that kind of experience is General Kilohasen, but he is tied up in holding territories until they are firmly integrated into Ciost's kingdom. What to do if I run into them? Anyway, we will arrive to take that city in about 5 days, and I will write more then.
