The scents are coming--
sky, hair, cinnamon, ginger--
on the winds of you

The scents are rushing--
evergreen, bleach, roses, peach--
down from your cloud-love (dreams of me, maybe?)

The scents are lusting--
heart-pumping blood, rain, orange, paint--
for our dance-romance

The scents are loving
the bodies to which they cling
entrancing others (like you and i to each other)

The scents are chasing
smarts and sensibility
right away from me

The scents are racing
against the tick-tocking clock
midnight is coming (when all magic ends)

Gloria Says: "This one was inspired by some of the guys I danced with at our graduation. Personally, I sorta like this one; it just sorta wrote itself..."
