No telling how many tears
I've sat here and cried
Or how long you've been gone
Gone away from me

All I feel is the pain
The stabbing pain
Of your betrayal
It hurts, god it hurts

I can't make it go away
Only you can do that
I want you to come
Even after what you did to me
I'm ready to forgive you
And move on

It's simple logic
You come back
No more pain
No more tears
No more aching heart

I've waited for days
Weeks, months,
And now it's faded into years

Will you ever come back to me?
The pain is as strong as ever
Without you to soothe it
Make it disappear

But you don't come back
I've started to accept it
But it hurts to do that
To accept reality hurts

You always promised me forever
But I was to naive to see
It was all a ploy A lie
All to make me stay

And once you were done with me
You left
With another
And left me here
In the cold

I want you
I want you to come back
